Upcoming November ARES Meeting

Our upcoming November 11th, 2017 meeting at the Benton County Health Department is jam-packed with new activities and ideas.

Among them are:

-The “changing of the guard”/Meet your new Emergency Coordinator
-Speakeasy
-community outreach-Design pamphlet to mail out to existing Hams
-possible CW classes with KAØDXU
-more hf operations and interest and regular monitoring of the repeaters
-Heritage Days discussion
-Rebooting the hunt for group shirts
-Personnel information sheets
-Wear white shirts for December meeting for group photo

I serve as the Emergency Coordinator for the BC ARES and I have completed FEMA’s IS-100b, 200b, 700a, and IS-800b. Currently signing up to take EmComm training beginning in November 2017.
