Upcoming November BC ARES monthly meeting!

Our meeting is this Saturday and we’d love to have you attend! As always, you do not need to be a member of ARRL, ARES or even have your amateur radio license yet. If you have any interest in ham radio at all, we would love to welcome you! We have a number of resources available and very knowledgeable Hams ready to help you in your journey!

We are having a small “Changing of the Guard” ceremony for our EC, Rick Wade, discussing changes to the net script, planning training and drills, and discussing club business including FEMA training, CW training, net control volunteers and other important subjects. We want to give everyone a say, so come add your voice to the meeting!

This month, the meeting will be held at the Benton County Health Department at 9 A.M.

I am a stay-at-home mom and homeschool teacher. I recently passed my test for my General Class License (KEØLMY) in Amateur Radio. I serve as the Emergency Coordinator for the BC ARES and I have completed FEMA’s IS-100b, 200b, 700a, and IS-800b. Currently signing up to take EmComm training beginning in November 2017.
