The May 9th meeting will be held at the Truman Dam Visitor Center, which is just east of the dam on the Dam Access Road. The meeting starts at 9am.
Atop Kaysinger Bluff, with a spectacular view of Truman Lake, the Visitor’s Center offers a wide variety of exhibits. From reproductions of archeological fossils found in the area, to paintings of Mastodons, and a timeline showing the exploration and settlement of the Osage River Valley. The Center’s observation deck gives visitors the opportunity to get a bird’s eye view of the dam and portions of the lake.
