ARRL Field Day 2018

ARRL Field Day Objective: To work as many stations as possible on any and all amateur bands (excluding the 60, 30, 17, and 12-meter bands) and to learn to operate in abnormal situations in less than optimal conditions. Field Day is open to all amateurs in the areas covered by the ARRL/RAC Field Organizations and countries within IARU Region 2. DX stations residing in other regions may be contacted for credit, but are not eligible to submit entries.

The BC ARES is proud to announce our partnership with the Warrensburg Area Amateur Radio Club, Inc. and Sedalia Pettis Amateur Radio Klub for ARRL’s 2018 Field Day!

At the monthly meetings between now and then, we will be looking for volunteers who are willing to make the trip up to the Woods Supermarket field where WAARCI will be setting up and operating on June 23-24. We are also considering having a second group operating here in Benton County.
